On Wednesday 19 June we held our Final Assembly and Presentation of Awards. Shields were awarded at each Key Stage in the categories of Behaviour, Endeavour, Academic Attainment and Helpfulness. Congratulations to all our worthy winners!
P7 pupils were also presented with an Achievement Award in recognition of their contribution to our school down through the years. We offer each of them our best wishes as they enter pastures new next year.
Certificates were also presented for swimming, cycling and Armagh Show.
Our school choir sang 2 pieces, 'I'm ready to go' and 'A whole new world.' The whole school also sang 2 choruses, 'Whether you're one' and 'J-e-s-u-s.'
We would also like to thank Rev David McMillan for being our guest speaker on the day. His message for the children was very relevant and appropriate, reminding the P7s that just as the great King Solomon asked God for wisdom, so too could they at this important juncture of their lives.
The afternoon ended with welcome refreshments provided for everyone by the School Meals Service, to whom we're indebted once again for all their help.
