It was a delight to be able to present Mrs. Joanne Badger, a representative of Leukemia & Lymphoma NI, a cheque for £600 recently, courtesy of our Christmas Charity Collection in school. A huge thank you to everyone who gave generously and also to our staff members for agreeing once again to forgo receiving Christmas presents so the money could go towards such a worthwhile cause.
Joanne spoke to the boys and girls in assembly and explained how the money would be used to support research into developing life-saving new treatments for blood cancers.
