P6-7 enjoyed an interactive and informative trip to The Navan Centre on Monday 24th March, to bring to life and conclude their WAU Viking topic. The children made bookmarks decorated with their runic names and tried writing with quills and ink. They met a Viking warrior who showed off his weapons, shields and slave chains. Children also had the opportunity to dress up and explore lots of artefacts from the time.
