Final Assembly

24th Jun 2022

We had a very special Final Assembly on Wednesday as we bade goodbye to our 14 P7s and reflected on the year that's past. P7 parents and family were invited to attend.

The children sang 3 songs, May my life be a thank you, The Lord's my Shepherd and Wherever I go. Our guest speaker was Colin Tinsley who brought a fantastic message to the kids.

Each P7 pupil was welcomed to the stage to receive a Record of Achievement Folder and a special Achievement Plaque. Shields were then distributed across the 3 Key Stages for Academic Attainment, Endeavour, Helpfulness and Behaviour. Individual shields were presented for Accelerated Reader and Care and Thoughtfulness. Well done to all our prizewinners πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

Congratulations to Derryhennett who won the House Points trophy! As a reward they all enjoyed a trip to Gosford Forest Park today (Friday). Well done!

A very entertaining and poignant video presentation was shown, highlighting the year's events and showing some pictures of our P7s down through the years. Our thanks to Mrs Ewart for preparing this.

Afterwards our parents were treated to strawberries and cream, followed by a cup of tea and some shortbread. πŸ“πŸ“πŸ“πŸ¨πŸ¨πŸ¨

And so one chapter ends and another exciting one begins for our P7 pupils…it's been a pleasure to teach you!

Sending you all our very best wishes for the days ahead😊😊.
