Digital Schools Award
We are delighted to announce that Drumhillery Primary School has been recognised as a leading school in Digital Technology. We are only one of around 87 Primary Schools in Northern Ireland to achieve this.
We are very honoured to receive this nationally recognised award and to be asked to become a mentor school for others seeking to achieve this also.
The Digital Schools Awards is a national scheme used to promote, recognise and encourage a whole school approach to the use of digital technology within schools.
The Digital Schools Award Northern Ireland is a 3-step programme to help schools assess progress and recognise excellence in the use of digital technology at nursery, primary, special education and secondary level while providing practical support and encouragement.
As part of our preparation for the award we produced a short video, demonstrating how digital technology forms an integral part of teaching and learning within our school. You can view this on our home page and in the ICT section of our website.
We are thrilled to have all our pupils and staffs hard work recognised.
