Music Lessons

Our school offers pupils a range of musical opportunities.

Piano

From P3 one to one piano tuition is available under the very competent tutelage of Mrs Kerry Ramsay. Children are offered the chance to progress through graded examinations as desired and regular and informative feedback is provided for parents. If you wish to enquire about piano tuition for your child then please contact the school and we will endeavour to answer any questions you may have.

Violin

Mrs Moore from EA provides violin tuition each Friday (P3-7). She is a highly experienced and enthusiastic tutor and the children have made fantastic progress to date. Often the children perform at school functions and assemblies. Pupils bring their own violins or alternatively may avail of the EA's instrument loan service. If you wish to inquire about violin tuition for your child then please contact the school. We can also arrange an appointment for you to speak directly with to Mrs Moore, should you so desire.

Piano Tuition

Each Tuesday, Mrs Ramsay comes in to teach our pupils. Pupils sometimes get the opportunity to play in school at school performances.  Mrs Ramsay has been coming to our school for approximately 10 years now and has seen many pupils begin their piano playing in Drumhillery. Many have gone on to contiue piano lessons during high school age and some are now even teaching piano theselves!
